What is a QR code? The Intelligencer, Dec. 2010 by Mary Lou Erk
According to Wikipedia, a QR code is a matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code), readable by QR scanners, mobile phones, with a camera, and smartphones. The code consists of black modules arrange in a square pattern on a white background. The information encoded can be text, URL or other data. How this applies to real estate is that if you are reading a magazine, newspaper, looking at a realtor’s sign, etc,, if a barcode is present, you scan on to your phone and instantly will get the information about the property. At that time you can decide if you want to see the property or move on. With technology moving along so rapidly, I am thrilled this is available.
Have a joyous Holiday Season and see you all next year!!
